Unit Manager Apostrophe Heathrow Airport Terminal 4
I started in 2012 as a Barista in Espresso, then I worked in Bite, making my way through Giraffe Stop and now I’m managing Apostrophe. I’ve worked in three Heathrow Airport Terminals and four Concessions coffee shops! When I started I didn’t speak much English, and Concessions gave me a great opportunity, it’s a great company to develop in. For that reason I became a manager, and because I had great managers to work for. The key to success in the Airport is patience! It’s such a busy environment, it can be completely chaotic, but it’s the chance to work in Heathrow Airport, it’s big and crazy and fun!
Duty Manager The Market Gardener Heathrow Airport Terminal 3
I started on 2nd January 2013, I remember the day now! I’d started working as a Waitress in Comptoir Libanais before moving to Bite, our coffee shop in Terminal 3. I’d always wanted to progress as a person and as a manager, and I’d heard good things about TRG from friends who worked in Heathrow. To succeed you need to believe in yourself, and enjoy your job! I wake up at 2am and I still love coming to work! You need good training too and the opportunities are great. I learned so much across the management development programmes.
In the airport you find people from everywhere, different people, different cultures, for me it’s perfect, I love being with people, I just couldn’t work in an office!
